Cara Delevingne and Kate Moss Join Forces for Mango

Spanish high street retailer Mango wins once again when it comes to its brand ambassador choices, as this time Cara Delevingne and Kate Moss have been tapped as Mango faces. It’s not just about how good a brand’s designs are, as the choice of the correct person who will promote them is highly important, since she’s the one transmitting the message of a certain collection. Both Kate and Cara are the most coveted It girls in the fashion industry at the moment with Kate being one of the most iconic supermodels of all time and Cara quickly climbing up the ladder of success to join her ranks. They definitely have #somethingincommon, as they are both British, super successful, beautiful and supermodels, who have starred together in last year’s Burberry campaign. This time they join their forces for Mango’s #somethingincommon fall 2015 campaign, shot by Inez & Vinoodh in Toronto, Canada.

This isn’t Kate’s first collaboration with the brand, as she was the face of Mango back in 2011 and 2012, while Cara is a fresh face for the fashion giant working with which and “having Kate as my partner in crime is ideal!”, as Cara herself has stated. “We are a lethal combination. I admire her personally and professionally, she represents a true fashion icon. It is a privilege to learn and to share this experience with her. The shoot has been epic – it’s always fun when Miss Moss is around ” she adds. Delevingne took the news to her Instagram account yesterday posting “Guess who I have #somethingincommon with in my new @Mango campaign…” and still keeping the identity of her “partner in crime” secret.

Apparently, Cara also likes the style of Mango, as it’s a great source of inspiration when it comes to everyday and special occasion looks that are unique, trendy and affordable at the same time. “Mango is great. When I think about what to wear every day, I like to be creative and Mango is a perfect brand to play with the range of styles there are nowadays,” Delevingne states.

In her turn, Kate also seems to be happy to be back as a Mango ambassador, as she has noted: “It’s so great to be working with Mango again, they are such a fresh and modern brand. Inez and Vinoodh have captured the energy of the shoot perfectly, Cara and I always have fun together and you really can see that in this campaign.”

While we have already had a sneak peek into Mango’s pre-fall 2015 collection, the entire fall fashion line is yet to be revealed along with the full Mango fall/ winter 2015 campaign shoot starring Kate Moss and Cara Delevingne. Moreover, there will also be a television advert featuring the two It girls, which we expect to see later in September. Meanwhile we have just one photo from the shoot, which hints that Mango’s fall line is going to be fresh, young and modern, like almost each of its collections is.
